The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Clean School Bus Program provides $5 billion over 5 years (fiscal years 2022–2026) to replace existing school buses with clean and zero-emission models. The Joint Office of Energy and Transportation provides technical assistance to school districts to plan for and deploy clean school buses in their communities.
