The Joint Office of Energy and Transportation (Joint Office) hosted a webinar focused on updates and plans for 2024 on Jan. 25, 2024. Executive Director Gabe Klein made introductory remarks.

The panelists included:

  • Sejal Shah, Senior Advisor for Electric Utility Programs and Policies, Joint Office

  • Kevin Miller, Senior Advisor for Business Models, Joint Office

  • Debs Schrimmer, Senior Advisor for Community & Urban Charging, Joint Office

  • Speakers discussed expanding electric vehicle charging and zero-emission transportation, including coordinating with utilities, leveraging public and private investment, and incorporating community and urban charging into our national network.

  • The Joint Office has had many notable announcements in the last few months, including several NEVI station openings, the announcement of the J3400 EV charging connector standard, CFI Round 1 Selections, RAA Selections, and Joint Office FOA Selections.
