Electric Vehicle Charging Corridors

The Joint Office of Energy and Transportation joins stakeholders with valuable resources that can assist in the deployment of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure. The Alternative Fueling Station Locator from the U.S. Department of Energy's Alternative Fuels Data Center displays EV charging corridors designated by the Federal Highway Administration (FWHA).

By turning on the station locations layer to see EV charging stations that meet the criteria for corridors, users can measure the distance between stations.

In addition to EV charging, the National Zero-Emission Freight Corridor Strategy aims to advance the deployment of zero-emission medium- and heavy-duty vehicle fueling infrastructure in alignment with EV charging corridors designated by FHWA.
